Man facing manslaughter over death of a NZ boy is remanded in custody

The man accused of manslaughter in connection with the death of a six year old New Zealand boy from a gunshot wound in Fiji has been remanded in custody.

34 year-old pilot, Mohammed Rizwan Khan, who is the licenced owner of the gun, will reappear at the High Court in Lautoka on Thursday.

A 14 year-old was also injured in the incident and remains in a stable condition in hospital.
