Fiji police are continuing enquiries into the death of a six year old boy in a shooting near Nadi at the weekend.
The boy has been named as Mohammed Khan of Auckland.
He was visiting a house construction site with relatives at Sabeto Hill when the incident happened.
Police say the boy and his fourteen year old cousin were rushed to hospital but the younger child was declared dead on arrival.
The fourteen year old is in a stable condition after surgery in Lautoka Hospital Sunday night.
The Fiji police have been interviewing the gun owner and another ten year old boy.
They say the gun was licensed and all the children were related.
