Seven people in police custody in Fiji over alleged gang rape of a 16 year-old

Fiji police have arrested seven people over the alleged gang rape of a teenager in Fiji’s Northern Division.

Police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro, told Fiji Village online that the suspects are aged between 16 to 30 years.

The seven people, who are now in police custody, are alleged to have raped the 16 year-old student in Savusavu last Thursday.

Ana Naisoro says police investigations are continuing.
