Firefighters and police are conducting investigations into another suspected arson in Rarotonga - this time at the headquarters of the Cook Islands News newspaper.

The fire is believed to have been started on Sunday night after factory staff finished printing Monday’s edition.

Evidence of the apparent attempted arson was found in one of the bathrooms on Monday morning.

It follows the destruction of four businesses and five homes in suspicious fires over the past two months.
