The President of Kiribati Anote Tong has reaffirmed his stand that Fiji be re-admitted to the Pacific Islands Forum.
The Fiji Sun reports that Mr Tong made the call at a forum organised by the University of the South Pacific in Suva.
Fiji was suspended in 2009 after it reneged on a promise to hold the first elections after the 2006 military coup.
Mr Tong says small island states and other countries should get together and rally for Fiji’s return.
