Samoa’s Cabinet has approved aid for flood-hit Pakistan and China.

Pakistan is to receive US$20,000 and China is to get US$50,000 .

In announcing the aid, Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sa’ilele Malielegaoi said the difficulties that have struck Samoa are not ones that cause hunger.

But he says flood victims overseas stand in the rain for days without food.

He says Samoa should know how to extend aid as well as receive it.
