Hawaiian Airlines will be adding a third weekly flight between Honolulu and Pago Pago in American Samoa during its summer months of June to August to accommodate peak traffic.

The Honolulu-based carrier currently operates two weekly flights on Sundays and Thursdays.

The additional flight, which will operate on Tuesdays, will run from the first of June to the 24th of August and will arrive and depart Pago Pago during night hours.

A Hawaiian Airline spokesman Keoni Wagner says the company adds the flights every year in anticipation of increased demand for summer travel.
