Bus driver in Samoa faces charges of negligent and dangerous driving causing death

The driver of the bus in Samoa that crashed kiling eight people las week, has been charged with eight counts of dangerous and negligent driving causing death.

The driver was discharged from the private Medcen hospital last week and is currently in police custody waiting to appear in court on Tuesday, local time.

Of the 17 injured people who were admitted at the Tupua Tamasese Meaole hospital for further treatment, only two are still hospital, the rest have been discharged.
