Fiji Trade deficit drops

Fiji’s trade deficit for the month of August amounted to 58 million US dollars.

The Fiji Times reports figures from the Bureau of Statistics showing that imports for the month dropped by 55 million dollars compared to July.

The total value of imports for August dropped 31 per cent compared to the previous month.

Of the total exports, domestic exports decreased by $24 million US dollars while re-exports dropped by 11 million.
