American Samoa-based Inter Island Airways is exploring the possibility of operating flights to Tonga and Niue next year.
Inter Island president Aleki Sene Junior, made the public comment during a House hearing yesterday.
Mr Sene is the newest member of the American Samoa Visitor’s Bureau representing the local airline industry.
Mr Sene says the family owned airline is exploring the possibility of expanding international service next year to Tonga and Niue but there must be local activities available to attract.
Inter Island current provides domestic flights in American Samoa as well as international flights to Samoa.
