The Fiji Warriors rugby union sevens side has been denied access into New Zealand to take part in the Methodist Church organised tournament in Auckland this weekend.
New Zealand’s Immigration officials in Suva says this tour falls under sanctions placed on Fijian sporting sides to attend tournaments here.
Fiji 7s coach - Waisale Serevi was sent an invitation after the Warriors won the Fiji Day tournament in Brisbane last Saturday.
Serevi had already picked his team which included former Blues winger - Rupeni Caucau.
