Vanuatu Parliament to meet next Monday to elect new Prime Minister

Vanuatu’s parliament is scheduled to meet again to elect the next Prime Minister on September 22.

This has been confirmed by the Clerk of Parliament who has notified the MPs of the date for sitting.

The 52 MPs are also due to elect a Speaker and one or more Deputy Speakers as is routine at the first sitting of Parliament after any general election Parliament shall elect.
