The former Guam Senator, Marilyn Manibusan, is to be sentenced in July after being found guilty of 22 charges, including extortion and bankruptcy fraud.
Last July, Manibusan was indicted for receiving thousands of dollars from the principals of two companies in exchange for approving their housing development projects.
Manibusan was also charged with failing to include pertinent information on bankruptcy forms and making false statements on a loan application.
