ANZ Amerika Samoa Bank has launched reusable shopping bags to mark its seven-year anniversary in American Samoa.
This comes at a time when a bill is pending in the Fono to ban the distribution of plastic shopping bags by retail shops.
The Bank’s president Gary Ayre is quoted by the Samoa News as saying that the new initiative is in line with the bill in the Fono.
