New Zealand and Australia are reported to be considering a sports boycott of Fiji

An Australian newspaper says New Zealand’s Foreign Minister, Winston Peters, will discuss further sanctions against Fiji -- including a sporting boycott -- with his Australian counterpart, Stephen Smith.

The newspaper says options include banning Fiji from this year’s Pacific Nations Cup rugby tournament, which includes the New Zealand Maori and Australia A teams.
