Winners announced in French Polynesia of Fifth International Pacific Documentary Film Festival

The winners of the Fifth International Pacific Documentary Film Festival have been announced in French Polynesia.

The Grand Prize went to " The Gift" directed by Jacques Navarro

Rovira and produced by Kultur productions & RFO Polynésie.

The Public’s Choice Award was: The Last Australian Trackers , directed by Eric Ellena and produced by French connection Films & France 5

A special prize was awarded to, Lifting of the Makutu, directed by Peta Carey and produced by Watershed films & TVNZ

Twenty films from the Pacific region were shortlisted for the 5 day event.
