Another three Fijian security guards are reported to have been killed in an ambush by insurgents in Iraq.

Radio Fiji reports that the information has been sent in an email by another Fijian security guard.

The email said the three men, two from Naitasiri province and one from Lomaiviti, were killed in an ambush near Baghdad early today.

They are reported to have been killed in a roadside bomb attack.

They were employed by a British company, Armour Group Limited, which does not have an agent in Fiji and has not confirmed the latest deaths.

Last month, four Fijian security guards were killed and two seriously injured in an insurgent ambush near Kirkuk in northern Iraq.

Their bodies arrived home for burial last weekend.
