Voting is continuing on the first of Tokelau’s three atolls to determine the political future of the New Zealand colony.
Electoral officials say 2-hundred people have registered to vote on Atafu in the referendum on whether Tokelau should seek limited independence in free association with New Zealand.

The people on Nukunonu and Fakaofo atolls vote later this week.
